TUITION & PAYMENTS

Payment Policy

Weekly/Monthly Music/Guitar Lessons, Voice Lessons, Bass Lessons, Drum Lessons, Ukulele Lessons In Sunnyvale

Lessons are conducted one day a week, four weeks per month. Tuition is due a week before the first lesson/workshop of each month. Within any month when five weeks occur a fifth-week lesson can be arranged at the hourly rate of $60 per our.

Single Lessons By Appointment

If you can't commit to weekly lessons, you can call to coordinate a time when you're ready for your next lesson. This option is attractive for those who have hectic schedules or who live outside the Sunnyvale and Santa Clara County areas.

Honoring Appointments
& Commitments

Once you commit to a lesson or workshop you are financially responsible for the time that was reserved for you. Lessons and workshops require a substantial amount of coordination and planning.

Special attention has been put into each student's role before the session begins. Therefore, there

is no reduction in tuition or make-ups for lessons or workshops you fail to attend.

▪ Please value our time like we value yours.

▪ Remember, after you sign-up for lessons or workshops, we will honor our commitment by holding your time and will not schedule another lesson or workshop during that period.

▪ This policy works both ways: if we fail to honor our commitment we will compensate you for the time you reserved by payment, lesson, or workshop.

▪ On days which lessons or workshops fall on holidays or student performances, lessons will either be rescheduled or an adjustment will be made in tuition.

The play-along CD's are the result of 25 years of teaching and recording experience.

How Does The Five Star Music Play-Along Method work?

The Method provides recorded accompaniment to the written lessons. All songs are recorded exactly as they appear in the books.

The program is designed to develop timing, rhythm, feel, and consistency by emulation. The method also promotes improvising by providing a full rhythm section (guitar, bass, and drums) to solo over. The play-along method is like having a backup band at your disposal.
