This CD contains a wide range of styles, from the uptempo Jazz Swing of Mark's Blues to the breezy samba of Live at LeBlanc's, and from the brush-driven shuffle Brush Blaster to the new-age flavored Awakening.
The songs are propelled by Mark's mastery of the Chapman Stick, a 10 string guitar-like fretboard played with both hands. The right hand plays the melody (treble) while the left hand plays the bass line.
